Colour Coding, Waste Management & HTM 07-01 |
|
Here at EHPL we offer the option of having our Bins colour coded to match an existing or new Waste Stream. There are large savings that can be made especially for Hospital Trusts looking to implement HTM 07-01 as you can see if you visit our Case Studies
We recommend that the Bins body is coloured White as we also offer a lid changing option. This means should your Waste Stream or Bins use change in the future rather than replace the bin(s) you can simply replace the lid(s) – visit our Lid Changing page here further details on this service.

In terms of waste management, Environmental Hygiene Products Ltd was the first company to introduce the full range of colour coding required by HTM 07-01 and completed the first full replacement programme within an NHS Acute Trust. Our product specialists can advise on what bins are required for what purpose and can also carry out NHS accredited Healthcare Waste Audits. Furthermore we work with the approved suppliers of waste sacks to ensure that the sacks supplied to Trusts match the bins in terms of size and ease of installation and emptying.
